  1. I believe that clip from post 325 is postwar due to the life vests. Here is one I'm quite certain is of a slit-less helmet cover on Okinawa. https://catalog.archives.gov/id/74251564

  3. ATF's new run with their new camo(pictures have not been updated on their site) is by far the best from what I've seen.
  4. Thoughts on this? http://www.criticalpast.com/video/65675052779_6th-Marine-Division-4th-Marines_interrogation_civilian-prisoner_camp-fire
  5. Could someone confirm these are WWII salt tablets?
  6. It's a cutter tag. Any pictures of the front of the trousers and the waistband?
  7. I would leave it. You might get some stuff on the Hbt and stain it.
  8. This has been labeled as fake. It looks original to me. Thoughts? http://m.ebay.com/itm/391566881679?_trksid=p2056016.l4276&_mwBanner=1
  9. Username, the one on the top left is indeed an Arnold Mfg. pouch. I do remember the Boyt pouch with the bent hook on eBay a while back, but I never got that one. Neither of these 4 snap pouches came from eBay. That was also a 2 snap pouch if I remember right. In regards to the tab, when you fold it up into the flap I guess it would do a good job of retaining band aids or other small flat things from falling out of the compartment. I assume they went to the loop shortly after.
  10. I have 2 SANICOT PRODUCTS CO. MANCHESTER, N.H.1943 dated pouches.
  11. It's real. No one makes a reproduction of that variant yet that I know of.
