  1. Owen, looking forward buying your new book
  2. ...extraordinary high quality footage, thanks for the link
  3. Awesome pics, thanks a lot for posting
  4. Thanks a lot Beau , had a wrong feeling about that badge, just didn't look right to me as well but wanted to hear other opinions, thanks again
  5. I have seen green berets with such early SF beret flashes only in books, this is the first example i have seen for sale, therefore i would need some advice concerning the flash itself which is an example worn by some SF personnel in Vietnam before the introduction of the 5th SFGA, the beret as i said seems correct to me, early Fleur de Lis stamp ( 1962 ) looks as it should but what bothers me is that the SF flash crest is a later version which shouldn't be attached to an early flash as this one but the earlier SF crest as i have on a 1962 Fleur de Lis green beret with an earlier 1st SFG flash
  6. Magnum, all those items are fakes, go carefully through the threads and you will find a lot of original berets of all kinds and you will be able to stay away from such crap sold at ebay, i would glue those berets to the sellers head so he has to walk around with them for the rest of his life
  7. Owen,i don't like it at all, give it to me, shipping cost on me and btw, Happy 4'th of July
  8. I dont like it either
  9. ...guess it was not as common because i have seen way more 1'st patterns with the gas flap present than the ones that have it removed, actually i like it, its a specific feature of 1'st & 2'nd pattern jungle shirts !
  10. I have seen several 1'st pattern jungle shirts with removed gas flaps ( preffer the ones with ) , was it common practice or just field modifications , thanks ?
  11. Super cool
  12. So many beautiful tiger patterns , love them all but i do have a favorite pattern, late war light tigers , post your favorite tiger , thanks
