I have a lapel pin and a variation of the medal that belonged to someone in my family. The medal has a winged prop between the eagle and the six pointed pendant. I'll see if I can dig it out and take some pics.

Anyone else think it looks like a prototype of the vehicles in Damnation Alley?

I never went in for type collecting. I was too busy trying to get 1 of everything. However as my collecting has matured, I now find myself collecting variations of patches, and most recently, CIB's.

I just sold a pair of these at the MAX for $30. They were mint unissued, still with the cutter tags, but missing the laces.

Looks like a very nice and early WWII M4 bayonet. I think the early M8 scabbard could be original to it.
