  4. Thank you, it was good timing I guess. Could either of you tell me how the hash marks work? I have forgotten. I recall a bit about having to do with time in combat or service.
  5. Wanted to share this antique store find while traveling out West last Fall. Both patches are bullion type. It is dated 1942 on the label inside the pocket. Jacket has some moth damage but not too bad. I know the CBI patch is fairly common but I believe the Bullion Ledo Road is scarce.

  8. I found this metal detecting recently. It is a flat button about the size of quarter. Wanted to share it here on the site. I think it is US 1st Regiment from the War of 1812 Era. Any thoughts if it's a scarce one?

  12. Embroidered on black felt of an alligator eating two tanks. It measures 3 1/2" by 2 " inches. I've had it about 15 years and acquired it with some old uniform stuff. Any thoughts ? Sorry about the rotation.

  19. Have a guard marked Camillus , NY U.S.M.C. Mark 2 which has a plated blade. Blade, guard and pommel all appear to be plated. It has a pinned pommel. Near the tip some of the plating has worn away. Anyone know if this is considered the UDT knife? Thank you, Rocco

  22. Good evening Lance, Thank You, very good thoughts, I think your right on. Would have liked to bought a case full of them back when they were first imported! I'm not in love with the chrome thing , I like to see them original. Price was right though so I grabbed it. Thanks again for your help, Rocco
