  1. USMC...I think its 3rd BN Best, Peter
  2. Greetings, I stand corrected. I believe this is actually a CWU-45. Looks like a "baffled back" and with the label I think this is late 70's. Nice find. Bst, Peter
  3. The flight jacket looks like an early CWU-36. Can you show pictures of the back and lining? Best, Peter
  4. Greetings, I agree with Owen. I stopped looking at the pictures as I thought that would even cause it to degrade further. It's a shame to see these die on the vine but "if it were offered" I would respectfully decline. Best, Peter
  5. Greetings, I can't find the specific reference but the Glider Badge became obsolete in 1961 but could still be worn on the US Army uniform I think (think) into the 1970's. There's an AR that covers this but I can't remember which one (not 670-1). With that in mind, if you could wear it, they would make it. I like it and don't feel its a reunion piece. Best, Peter
  6. Greetings,

I made a transaction with this member in February and have been getting the run-around since.  I have done business with him before so I am a little surprised.  The last contact I had was in the beginning of April and has not responded to my emails of late.

  7. Greetings, Real-deal pieces that were indeed sold in sets of singles on a cardboard sheet wrapped in cellophane. Certainly, post-war entrpreneurs were trying to get the most sheckles for their efforts. I think it's a nice find; legitimate pre-2003 stuff is getting harder tocome by. Best, Peter
  8. Greetings, Jacket is cleaning up nicely and is an honest size 40. No knit wear to speak of, working original zipper, good leather and if it was re-dyed, probably period done by the original owner and not to enhance the sale. The grand-daughter is super nice and excited to share her grandfather's history (who sounds like a REALLY nice guy) with a long history in the military after WWII. And, he and my father-in-law were in the same squadron. Worth every penny I paid. I will post some pictures when all the dust settles. Best, Peter
  9. Greetings, I typically only buy for the time being: pbuchh7715 on eBay and WAF Peter
  10. Greetings, The insignia on the board is an odd shape; more like the design you see on a Navy Medical Officer board as opposed to a rank (oak leaf). Best, Peter
  11. Greetings, If memory serves "fat devil" is WWII, "skinny devil" is post war. Best, Peter
  12. Greetings, #3 looks like JROTC/ROTC Cadet of the Year Award ribbon. Best, Peter
