  1. All I know is I'm not watching this movie with ANY of you expert guys, you'll take all the fun out of it. Haha
  2. Beautiful jacket! I can only vouch that I have encountered several confirmed Korean War WIAs who did not make the casualty list.

    RIP Tom Lane

Terrible news. I remember him patiently answering my ignorant questions when I was a brand new collector. He was filled with good advice and knowledge and shared it freely. RIP
  4. I recently polled my unit (67 Soldiers) about this uniform. Results were 100% for. I have not spoken with very many currently serving Soldiers who are against it. It's good-looking and it hearkens back to our "finest hour" in my opinion. Make the change CSM!
  5. Thank you for clearing that up. I had found the same discrepency in a couple of different books, and it was throwing me off.
  6. Thank you very much for the responses. It would appear that contrary to the information I have read elsewhere, this patch design could have been around as early as 1946.
  7. This patch came in a WWII grouping with a set of matching DUI. The Soldier served overseas from early '45 and did occupation duties through mid '46 before rotating home and being discharged. I am a little confused on the patch. I have read in numerous places online that this particular patch didn't come about until the 50s or 60s. Does anyone happen to have a similar patch or can anyone give me some thoughts on a date or maker for it? Thank you!
  8. Welcome Eric! I'm from NWA myself.
