  1. Thanks for your 4 answers. Yes I knew the colors of the pipings of the Ordnance Corps, Transportation corps, Signal Corps, etc... But none of them really match w/ this orange & yellow colors. These orange & yellow are pure original colors, and not "sun-past" for example.... This is why I really don't know to what service they match .... About the other white garrison cap w/ black horizontal lines, I made the parallel w/ the white hat w/ black stripes. This hat ( see the picture) has a letter "P" on front and back. But these 2 "P" are washed up : one can almost see them.It was so

Hello, Please would you help me in finding some precisions on these 2 garrison caps that I have since more than 20 years now in my collection. 1) The first is a white cotton type, that crosses in front AND back, and black horizontal lines, as shown on the picture. A tag in sewed in, refering to a Kansas City Mfg. I made a parallel w/ a prisoner hat that I have too in my collection, which shows too some black stripes , and a big "P" printed on front AND back, as show too on the picture attached.   5. Good evening, As I'm a French U.S. garrison / overseas caps collector since a long time now, I'd like to ask for identification of this particular pink color piping. When I first asked, I was told that the piping were red, and then "sun passed" . But I think this is not true. Because when looking at the hidden part of the piping, where it goes underneath the lateral left side, one can see that the color pink hasn't change by any kind of chemical or sun procedures.   6. Hello, I am very happy to join the US Militaria Forum, and to have contact w/ all members concerned by our hobbies. I am a french collector, since more than 40 years now, and focused my interest in the US WW2 helmets, and all types of soft headgears of the WW2 period ( o/seas cap, garrison caps, hats, etc.. ) ,and also WW1 o/seas cap, garrison caps and hats.
