  1. Found this and like it. Question is....this military or civil coat. Only visible tag is size on collar. Size 42 .

  5. Usually they are taged or stamped in many parts. If not i would suggest a civil item.
  6. Owen could you make a picture of the M-48 liner? Is the pocket on the fleece side? That is very strange. Usually you have an rayon layer there. Karl
  7. Owen depends on size and condition. Tags present? Liner matching size? On ebay with good pictures could get 400 dollars. Sometimes only less then 100.

  9. The problem with those chinese items is they dont do Long sizes.The one I posted is an real XXL and long with history All my jackets are 42 or 44L......

  11. Wich size are you looking to buy? Or how tall and heavy are you? That ebay jacket looks like a 34 or 36 size.......I allways try to look on the hanger,if it sits tigth on it like this case it must be a todays smal size.Biger sizes the shoulders hang down the hanger.

  16. Yes USMC and army used M-1943 clothing patterns.Only some minor units received the later M-1951 cothings.Mostly parkas and overpants. USMC on field used also their P-41 and P-44 troussers and shirts. Lots of cool pictures on LIFE picture files. Karl
