  1. Yes it would be WWII. Got to admit I got a bit of a lump in my throat when I read that opening page and thought of my Father in law and his twin brother both joining the Navy when they were 17 years old.
  2. Found this in my late Father in laws things today. Didn't think much of it till I opened it up.
  3. Thanks in advance for any info. We are thinking given the age of the giver and when he might have bought it possibly Korea era or Vietnam. But really have no clue.
  4. My son was given this sleeping bag by his future grand father-in-law. He had picked it up years ago at a surplus store and we were trying to figure out the era. It's not worn bad but has seen use. The inner tag was very faded and this was the best I could do on the tag.
  5. My son picked this up today. It looks good to me but what do you think. He paid 15 bucks so how did he do on price.
  6. I always have enjoyed history but never thought about collecting. When my FIL passed away we found all this in the attic and that got me started. We had no idea was up there.
  7. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. The dirty bag is from Milwaukee
