  1. hi steve, Just read your post. It sure brought back so many memories. I was stationed in Duluth from 1962-1966,(hard to believe 50 years have passed) assigned to the 343rd supply sq. supporting the 11th F106 fighter intercepter sq. I did not know the base has since closed ,but I'm not surprised. Sad to hear the NCO club is gone, had many a good time there. I spent some time guarding the perimeter of the SAGE building during the cuban missile crisis , we carried M1'S with live ammo. Good thing it was in October and not the dead of winter!!
