  1. Is it on liveauctioners.com as well? Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  2. Not to hijack the thread, here is one I picked up in my travels. Found it with the medal only, no ribbon attached to it. It's not numbered. One thing that sticks out to me l, on the back of the medal the circle edge is not even as indicated in my picture. Is this an original medal or a repop? Any help is appreciated. 3. Here is one I picked up a few years ago, had no idea they were all attributed to the Philippines, until I stumbled onto this thread. My research shows that the VT-27 was only in Corpus Christi TX from July 11th 1951 until sometime in 1952 when they moved Kingsville. These buckles are very cool, and all are a unique piece of art. Hopefully, I will find some more out in the wild in my adventures. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  4. I finally was able to look through the whole auction, I wonder where the good stuff is? I have been to Jack's house multiple times and this doesn't even scratch the surface of his collection. Not saying there are not some nice items in this auction, but he has a lot more historically significant Groupings and uniforms in his collection. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  5. There has been some very generous gentleman on this forum, that have helped me out a lot. Any way I can give back to the community, I am more than happy to help out, I can't provide a lot of knowledge so this is a way for me to give back. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  6. I ask because I would like to potentially bid on some items. I only live about 20-30 minutes from the location that you can view them. I plan on making an appointment to go view them, if anybody would like any better pictures I would be happy to do that for you. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  7. One question, he was banned from here for repeatedly selling PUT together uniforms, will you bid with confidence on his Groupings and uniforms all things considered? Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for your help/knowledge! Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  9. Makes sense, seems time consuming either way. Definitely well made. Would this be WWII time frame? Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  10. Looking through this thread, I am confident this is a sweetheart piece. Several of these where posted by Bobgee in the first few threads. Would the lines in the globe have been hand done? Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  11. Maybe US Navy VPB29 it is identified as that a few places, but didn't dig around to much to [emoji817] percent confirm that. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
