  1. This man is identified as Frank Lukes [sic] and Eddie Rickenbacker on Pinterest. This photo looks like neither to me. It does look like a WWII photo. Link - https://www.pinterest.com/pin/543668986253587342/
  2. aerialbridge, you do awesome work! Great work with the torn photos! Do you use Photoshop? I don't have Photoshop. I used Apple Photos and Seashore on this Civil War photo of General William Beall.
  3. Wow! It's been a looooong time since I posted. My friend wants to find out about this uniform. She has a thrift store. I told her I don't anything about it but I could find out. Why are the pants a different color? What do the patches signify. Approximate value? Anything else? Photos: Jacket front. Jacket left sleeve. Pants tag. Hopefully enough to make a proper ID. Thanks!
  4. Hi everyone, Do you know what medals Christian Fleetwood is wearing? I recognize the one in the middle. Thanks!
  5. I did check his Wikipedia page. I found no information about rosettes or the curly thing. It's possible the information is there and I missed it. Thanks. Cheers, Mike
  6. Need help with some of these ribbons. I'm not familiar with the rosettes on the ribbons and the curly addition on the bottom row. Can someone please explain? Thanks! http://www.af.mil/AboutUs/Biographies/Display/tabid/225/Article/107225/general-james-harold-doolittle.aspx

  8. Thanks. IMO Kettles did the right thing. The government has nothing to gain. It seems improper to wear both medals if the lesser one were upgraded.
  9. What happens when a DSC is upgraded to a MOH? Does the recipient give back his DSC? Is the DSC citation stricken from the books? Any other information to add? Thanks.
