The uniform belonged to Capt Harry Meakin Jr. The hat was separate, the tag in that listed Henry Wadsworth Miller. Unfortunetly I couldn't find much info about Capt Miller. I was able to get quite a bit of information on Capt Meakin. He served in the submarine service during the Second World War & the Korean War.

Came as a set. Coat, shirt, pants, and tie. Unfortunately no hat. Coat and shirt seem to be the real deal, tie looks too new, pants seem regulation....but they're super clean, so I suspect they may not be the original.
Unfortunately no serial numbers. Olson is stamped inside of it. Other than that just the manufacturer's tags are all that is there. Curved boards on it, no other info or history that I know of.

Thank you sir. Definitely a newer badge, it's that crown at the top that confuses me. Any other water wings I've seen haven't had it. Was wondering if it was a special add on.
Not wings....but water wings. Has anyone ever ran across a crown symbol on top of the mast on the surface warfare insignia and know the meaning of it? I've never seen anything like it during my time in the Navy & searching it on google brings up nothing......thanks in advance.
