  1. Mystery solved. Thanks so much guys. I really appreciate it. I knew I would find the answer here. Mods- Please delete post.
  2. Thank you. I had a feeling it was not US. I appreciate it.
  3. Picked up a bunch of pins the other day. These are the only 2 I am not sure what they are. The first is some kind of cap device. May not even be US? The second is a screw back pin. Not sure if this one is military or not. Any help on one or both of these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. I need a little help with the dates on this Field Utility Cap. I looked in the reference section and saw some similar to this one. The dates ranged from the 50's to the 80's. My problem is I am not familiar with the materials. This does have an open EGA. Any help will be appreciated.
  5. I have been trying to find info out on this medal for awhile. Is this a Pearl Harbor Survivors Medal / Ribbon. I havent been able to find it. Also was it an official medal? Thanks for the info.
  6. That would explain why I cant find anything on it. Now I will not continue looking. I have spent a lot of time looking. Thank you for your response.
  7. Would like a little help (again). I have this 77th Army Air Force patch and can not find anything on it on line. Typed many different combinations to find one like it for identification. I come up with 77th Flying Tigers and 77th bombardment and nothing else really. Any help would be appreciated. (The Army has so many different patches).
  8. Thanks Longhorn. I knew someone would know really quickly. I appreciate it! Best regards.
  9. Im sure this is very simple for someone (probably many). I am trying to identify this Army Airborne Unit. I have ordered some books to help me in the future. Thanks again! Lorne
  10. Very nice patch. I got it in a lot and that was the last thing I didnt have information on. Thanks again!
  11. Thank you so much for your reply Randy. Very insightful.
  12. Not sure about the names on the outside of the bell. Navy ship bells are used for religious services. If you are baptized on the ship (normally under or around the bell), you can have your name inscribed on the inside of the bell. The bell remains with the ship until decommissioned. After decommissioning, the bell remains with the Department of the Navy.
  13. I need a little help identifying time frame and where this patch may have been made. It is a F100 engine patch. Pictured on the patch is the F-16 which would be post '74. My guess is late 70's early 80's. The back of the patch is pictured. Is this a US made patch?
  14. Thank you so much! I looked at aviation and kept coming up with an Air Force Squadron. Maybe too much info in my search. It really is appreciated. I know if I cant find it, ask the experts. Thanks again Salvage Sailor!
  15. Got this in a lot of coins that I bought. Trying to identify the Unit Squadron. It is so difficult with nothing really provided. Double Deuce could be any unit with a 22 in it. There are some clues in the date 2006 and The operations. Then there is also the "Highlighter". I have come up with aviation squadrons to Army Units. The problem I am having is these are all common words and so much comes up on a search. Any help would be appreciated.
