  1. Okay, does this work? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/27/4015e52dc69204103e326f69022e4fac.jpg
  2. Well, I suppose someone had to do it, so here goes. Halloween heads mounted on carriage steps. Works well, but just faintly bizarre.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/27/93c3048d2b5cc70fd33d70f6c1e4c63f.jpg
  3. No problem, Mike. I have the preferred minimizer. Thanks!
  4. Fine, Steve B. How do I delete? I mostly use an iPad.
  5. A neighbor passed away a year or so ago and the family decided to clean out his hangar (we, obviously, live on an airpark). I have all the tools I need, but a few things caught my interest. The gas can is a '74 in good condition, with a little surface rust on top, but a sound bottom. Don't know much about the unit pin. The buttons and ruptured duck/buckle seem okay - esp. For the $5 invested. The large fire extinguisher and cart are cool and cost $10 - we do live on an airport, after all.
  6. Remember these? They used to be everywhere. Usually they were cheap plastic toy grenades mounted on a base. This one, however, is a genuine, well marked example of a training grenade. It was at the checkout register of the mall. When I asked them about it they said "everything's for sale." $20 - kind of a bargain around here. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/15/336878324a2ff7d7d1b39ead2c5dc7ff.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/09/15/fcd013fcde39f804dc4f720dcef074fb.jpg
  7. Just tryin' to keep folks in place. Advice from Fla. Highway Patrol neighbor prompted the mod.
  8. Okay, so not everyone is going to be okay with this, but I have the need for seatbelts. As a former mishap investigator and squadron safety officer in the Navy, I am aware of their value- even in a 1942 vintage vehicle. First I tried using the belts from my Kawasaki Mule - not a good look. Now I am using "period looking" belts made from WW II (and later) paratrooper harnesses. $25 a set at a good A-N store. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/09/a368273b05673a51fe7ecf88bcb4a04c.jpg As mounted in our Willys: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/09/897fc8ef2c8ce725326565a731fbc9e1.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/09/245e9119925588adb1ef6a7c6bf36f2a.jpg Mounts to existing bolts. Works good - looks a lot better.
  9. Passed on to my Coastie friends who met in the Bering Sea.
