  1. The black and yellow eagle/hawk patch came with a named flying tiger bomber jacket. The jacket was already decorated, but this was in a pocket. The tiger patch is old, maybe theater made?
  2. Yes, we thought it is 44th, is it legit, any guess on a value? Thanks!
  3. Real nice, unused. Embroidered on felt, muslin back. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  4. Sorry about the side-way views, I couldn't get the pic's to rotate.
  5. Thank you All! I am doing some research with the info provided. Great history.
  6. Nice looking shoulder board, has a few dings in the brass, but overall, it's good. Initials on the button...as shown. Thanks for your help! PS...I only have this one.
  7. Just picked this up from the original owners senior nephew. Owned by a Charles Sully who served in the 3rd Army. One of the coolest painted helmets we have ever seen!
  8. Thank you all for such valuable information. We were told that the pieces we purchased, had been purchased by their Grandfather at a military auction many years ago. At that time, this piece was named to Ambrose Burnside. Of course, we have no paperwork or proof of that. I've done a few hours of research to try and find a close up of his horse wearing this piece, to no avail.
  9. Napoleon era may be correct. I just took a quick look at them.
  10. We were told this belonged to a US officer. It was purchased with several other spectacular pieces. It's in a very delicate state and moving it around too much will surely cause damage, so we haven't tried to look for a mark. Anyone recognize it? Thank you in advance for any help.
  11. Anyone know this insignia? Thank you in advance for your help.
