Military history buff with a focus on the Second World War. I have collected on and off my entire life, but have recently become an avid collector of Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. I am interested in expanding my collection in to other areas and hope to connect with others having similar interests.

  1. This is sad news. I just did a deal with Bob last month and was thinking last week of circling back with him for some more RAF badges. A stand up gentleman all around. He will be missed.
  2. Thanks Tredhed, always appreciate the help. Stay safe!
  3. Bump. Any feedback on these three?
  4. Hi All, I hope every in doing well. A couple of recent pick ups below, all purported original WW2 Thoughts on the ADC? Now that I have them in hand I am not so sure. Thanks in advance! Andy
  5. I'll overpay (within reason) if it is something I really want. I too have regretted not buying things or waiting too long to buy them and having them disappear. I would certainly overpay (maybe outside of reason) for items with a family connection.
  6. I had a similar thought about the red light potentially causing harm, but it is very cool. I really like the presentation of everything in the case. It looks professionally done.
  7. Wikipedia article on the raid leading to the first MOH being awarded: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Locomotive_Chase
  8. Very cool, thanks for posting this Kat. I had no idea that it was the anniversary. Stay safe!
  9. Thats awesome! I love the loot in the back!
  10. I am by no means an expert, but I am leaning towards a copy based upon the lack of detail on the face (original has red eyes and mouth and the mouth is more defined) and the gun/bayonet is more detailed in the known original. Just my opinion and I will be interested in what the experts say...
