All, I hope your day is going well. I was looking on Ebay and noticed this ww1 or interwar uniform with air corps patches on both sleeves. Can anyone provide more info. on the authenticity and approximate value? As always I appreciate the help. - Nick K

All, I was doing some shopping at a local antique mall and noticed this navy jumper. Initially it looked normal but I noticed the patch on the right breast pocket. I'm assuming this was added post war but wanted to get some second opinions. Any help would be appreciate, thanks again! Nick K

Good Afternoon, I do not know much about older US uniforms so any information will be helpful. Also if someone knows a fair value that would be helpful too as I do not know how much to offer the gentlemen. Thanks for the assistance. - Nick

Thanks!

All, I found this tin box which I believe is from WW1. It has all the Allied Powers with Christmas 1914. As for what it was used for, I have no idea. Any advice would be appreciated. - Nick

1AD Patch and Deployment Patch Research Project
Nkumburis replied to Nkumburis's topic in ARMY AND USAAF
Thanks for the help! Sorry for the confusion, I meant “combat patch”. I will look into the references provided. Any help on the history of wear and authorization of the combat patch will be helpful. -
All, I hope your weekend is going well so far. I need to write a research paper on the history of the First Armored Division's patch and U.S. Army deployment patches. I wanted to know if anyone has any good references or articles written on the 1AD and deployment patches. Also if you have any rare variations of the patch, feel free to post them too. Also if anyone has any history on patch variations specifically on the 1AD that would be helpful too. I look forward to seeing your response! - Nick K
