  1. If you sent me a Black one, I’d have a green AND a black... ‘‘tis the season! Hahahahaha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Ron, He’s in California for your time planning purposes. Contact information: Phone: 209-295-7819 Email: sierrajs@volcano.net If you talk to him, tell him I was online making cracks about him being an old man, or something like that. Feel free to embellish that as you see fit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As far as San Francisco’s gold rush Jim Sornberger is probably the most knowledgeable guy I am aware of. He’s a Knifemaker and engraver and he’s inspected most of the known Knives from that era. He will talk your ear off on it, for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I tried to get them to cast it hollow but they didn’t want too. So I ended up drilling and machining them with my mill. Not a lot of details to give, just one long hole to drill! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you all for the kind words! I am making 10 and keeping 1 Now that the casting is ironed out, I may have some done in bronze too, just for fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The m1918 trench knife is my favorite. I have been planning a reproduction of my own for quite a while. I took an original LF&C handle and had it 3D scanned, after I spent days trying to 3D model it myself.... I got close, but not close enough. After the scan, I had a computer geek take the raw file and clean it up and fix the flaws in the original castings. Then I had the handles cast, in titanium. Because titanium is awesome. The blades are CPM 3v and the tang nut is heat treated tool steel. I made scabbards out of g10, to round it out. This is one of my
  7. brother, I hate to be the one, but that is a newly made knock off. I think they go for about $20 all day long.....
  8. I dont have time to make them, but if you or anyone else wants it, I can do the CAD for it so if you take them to get made you wouldnt have to pay for that.
  9. Oh yeah, these are just the raw castings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. For the 100 year anniversary, I am doing my version of the m1918. I had my handles cast out of titanium though. I had a LF&C handled 3D scanned then corrected the flaws in the cast surface in the CAD. So they feel like an LF&C handle but a little smoother and more uniform. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. As I recall there was a small batch of the M11s made in that high vis color for police bomb techs. There is no real money in that kinda knife so it never went anywhere. I think they told me how many, but I’d be making it up if I told you a number now... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. They look great, nicely done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
