  9. Hi there has any one ever heard of or have pictures of a hbt od7 us army jungle jacket, it has rienforcements at the shoulders ,appelettes , and loopsin the back to run back pack straps throughout and bellows pockets with exposed plastic buttons . thanks koreamike

  11. My argument on the trim is that i have seen that type of twill on other items from cots to carbine pouches and they are original , also have seen that type of trim on gailee grenade pouches, other items of gear i have seen are made quite sloppy from 1945 period . koreamike

Thanks a lot , for the reply this collector in new york i know real well wants to sell me a beautiful set , the jacket is an atlantic mfg. co and the trousers are king kard overall they are mint and beautiful but the price is almost 2,000.00 I really , really want them and have seen nothing but fake one's for the last five years of my quest . think i will jump on them . thanks again koreamike

  16. THE NUMBERS ON THOSE GARMENTS MIGHT BE SPECIFIC CONTRACT NUMBERS RELATING TO THAT SPECIFIC TYPE OF GARMENT AND NOT A GENERAL USE NUMBER FOR ALL MILITARY CONTRACTS , HELMET CVERS HAD THEIR OWN SPECIFIC CONTRACT NUMBERS KOREA MIKE
  17. a definate repop marine weave hbt colors are wrong beach side stitching is wrong also the button holes i have a thread on the steel and kevlar page that shows second pattern stitching . koreamike

  20. thats really an awesome liner , what a piece of history. I remember going to some of the surplus stores in the 1970's it seemed like there was no end to the ww2 stuff , it was there in the boatloads. thanks for the pics
