  1. This are two uniforms, donated to the museum. The m42 uniform, including gear and helmet, was donated by General Gavin!
  2. For my study 'Cultural Heritage' I visit many museums. In November 2012, I visited the National Liberation Museum 1944-1945. It's located in Groesbeek, near Nijmegen in the Netherlands. This museum is dedicated to the liberators, who fought for the freedom of the Dutch people. I am very thankful they jumped in our country, to liberate us from the Germans.   3. I didn't find any label with date. However, I got the guarantee from a collector that it was an original ww2 trousers. What is the value of this item? (This collector had a large collection with 2 original british para (one fully packed with chute), 101st airborne para (m42 jumpsuit with original inland m1a1 carbine), an 82nd para (m43 uniform with chute, fully packed), ss soldier with working k98 and a ss panzer captain)

  10. I am studying Cultural Heritage in Amsterdam. I am learning to work in a museum (conservator for example). In the first months of this year, I had a subject called Materials Knowledge.   12. A few days ago, I made this little diorama fro one of my little brothers. It's a jagdpanther tank cruising through the forest of the Bulge. There are some fallschirmjäger looking for a spotted GI. I named the diorama: 'Wo sind die Amerikaner'. I hope you like it. If you have some tips or suggestions, feel free to post them.
