  1. https://fas.org/irp/program/collect/vpu-002.htm "In the P-3 community they are known as ‘Jerry’s Kids’ because they are special," the officer said, referring to the charity run by comedian Jerry Lewis that aided children with special needs. "Basically what that means is that whatever the special projects guys need, they get." http://www.p3orion.nl/sneaky.html

  5. I was going through my things and came across these flight surgeon wings. Wings are thick and heavy. They're marked Sterling but I'm not quite sure if they are original or a restrike. I totally forgot I even had these wings. I've had them for close to 30 years. I'm far from being an expert so looking for opinions. Thank you Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk

  14. They had a Stars & Stripes book store at Clark. But I dont ever remember seeing one of those. That is cool
  15. Ive had a few of these, bought from an Army-Navy store as a kid. A few had reversed colors. I was told it had something to do with the FSSF, but I’m skeptical of that ID. The patches were thin and fragile. They would fall apart in your hands.
  16. Gotcha. And I was just stating that when someone says ‘reversed’ its an actual patch with the item facing the opposite direction, like a right facing 101st.
  17. Yes. When I was at Tech School at Sheppard, 1982, their were foreign pilots all over the place. Nice scarce patch.
  18. You’re right.Im thinking of the RANGER & SF tabs.
  19. I’ve seen them nailed on plaques. But I also think these are worn on the pocket flaps of dress blues
