Thanks for the correction Firefighter.
You’re welcome. Cool item and I hope you can ID the original owner.

According to both articles of The Times, Hougas landed in France on June 18, 1944.
Is it therefore correct he was awarded the bronze arrow head, as he was wearing on his Ike Jacket?
I would say no as you are only entitled to it from 06Jun-07Jun44

I would say YES. NIce cap with armor piping.

10th Air Transport Brigade and was assigned to the 11th Air Assault Div, soon to be the 1st Air Cav

RANDY is correct. I never heard of a TFW select crew program before, learned something new. Here is your patch
-
I always though SELECT CREW was a SAC/LeMay thing. The other one looks like a German Bevo type patch
-
The second Image has a set of numbers. The second set looks to be, B24A. So maybe a B-24

Here is one that I can not seem to officially ID or find a history of the unit

Sweetheart or collar insignia? I'm only familiar with the silver and subdued versions with just the eagle and chevrons for collar insignia.
They made these with different rates and ranks, I think only E5-E6. I think they were worn on their caps.Gold could mean Good Conduct?

Michael Ironside as Col. Archwood and David Neher as Todd in the NBC sitcom, "Community." These images are from the episode, "Basic Lupine Urology" (Season 3, Episode 17). It first aired on April 26th, 2012.
Nice. I use to watch that show.I dont remember that episode

This isnt accurate. There is a variety of air force guidon that just has these wings. Its for I believe an aviation assault unit. This guidon isnt a real one, but its not for that reason. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F333458847640

An issued or unit used would have the winged propeller. So, as above, probably given to a pilot leaving the unit.

Thank you gentlemen for the positive ID! I am sure this patch has haunted many a collector who hoped it was a Skunk Works patch.
I assume after this gets more widely read quite a few of them will be pulled from collections shortly!
Like the 4 Roses patch

Same seller from Florida also has a group of 40+ loose Jaycees patches including 4 of this patch. One of them actually has FLA JC on the patch so this may help pinpoint this as being a Jaycees patch from Florida. https://www.ebay.com/itm/MILITARY-EMBROIDERED-PATCH-VINTAGE-SET-OF-47/264588633299?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D40718%26meid%3Dfc9802a72c074868a79b6962a01bf2b1%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D264588633299%26itm%3D264588633299%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A6080410f-2f6d-11ea-8dd3-74dbd180585f|parentrq%3A73cbe73416f0abc31c88d247ffb08018|iid%3A1
Excellent ID

A Greet Beret wearing one of those LLDB patches as a Fob, too bad he's not wearing tapes, maybe we could of IDed him. The ARVN Green Beret wears his Green Beret with the LLDB badge that seems to have Crossed Arrows superimposed on it right!
Cool picture. It’s actually the SF DI on his beret.

Photo from the Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) 1968 Vietnam cruise book, CS Division, Crypto Gang, R(adio)M(an) Gang, etc. and a similar RM-GANG Snoopy patch from my collection
I'd love to have the Woody Woodpecker VIETNAM! patch.....
That Woody Woodpecker is very cool.

25-30%....Bodes
Thank you. I actually thought it would be more, still a chunk though.

U.S. Cavalry store. Loved getting their catalogs
-
Very nice crest! That Meyer hallmark was used in the mid 50's until mid 60's, so that matches the unit's time frame.
Thank you. Not something i normally collect but I thought it was cool.

Meyer 9M marked
From what I can find this was only used between 01Feb50 and 16Mar56 while it was stationed at Camp Chaffee, AR
