Picked this up at the Atlanta Show last weekend. The canopy is marked with Switlick Co's datum and the risers are dated 1965. Unfortunately the deployment bag-static line assembly's a later generation and dated 1998. The Aviator's kit bag is also dated 1965. I'm not a rigger so have stuffed the rig in the pack tray as best I can until a period deployment bag can be found.

Thanks for the thumbs up! I'm not looking to sell or trade as the patch is in a Museum Collection. I was just trying to establish relative value for insurance purposes.

What do we have here? Authentic or not? If the real deal what would the value be for insurance purposes?

Gil, Thanks for the leads, this was the type of info I was looking for. The Post has not yet discussed whether to restore to original paint or just to inhibit further damage. Thanks to all who have replied.

Have no clue as to the tank's history. The goal is to stop further deterioration of the vehicle.
