Here are pics of the 1902 Ames sword. Again, I am trying to give the woman an honest offer that is fair to both of us. The sword belonged to her father and it is her father's name etched onto the blade. And again, thanks in advance.

A nice early Ames Sword Co. example Model 1902. I would think that for an identified sword (with research capabilities) this sword is around a $200- $250 sword. Make certain you know her father's dates of service or branch or history as his service record will make a difference between selling this sword and the thousands of others that look just like it.
