Sgt. Charles H. Raub Jr. was KIA on July 25 1944 on Tinian there were 328 Marines KIA on this Island I am very proud to have it in my collection has of today.

Interestingly, thats one of the islands I don't have a posthumous USMC Purple Heart for in the collection. I've got posthumous USMC Purple Hearts for Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Saipan, Eniwetok, Iwo, and Okinawa, along with Raider, fighter pilot and aircrew posthumous PHs. I even have Korea and Vietnam posthumous USMC Purple Hearts but haven't come across a Tinian or Tarawa or Guam for that matter in all these years of collecting.

Very nice PH . That is a tough one to find. I have one with some documents to a marine ,but I have it in storage to dig out and show, I love seeing those marine hearts. Thanks for showing the heart. Any paper work?
