US made merrowed SSI, both tab and patch.

A crudely made First Cav combat patch. The background is a piece of heavy twill, horse head and band are made out of lightly rubberized material. Airborne tab is US made.

Here is my contribution. I got this off of eBay some time ago. The seller told me that it was worn by an individual by the name of Joe Ballard. All the insignia look period made and would appear that this was worn by a non-airborne US adviser to this particular ARVN Ranger battalion.
