I wanted to make sure and tell all veterans both Active,Reserve and retired how much I really appreciate what you have done and are doing for us and our great country, We are thinking of you on this special day to honor you and want to let you know you are in our prayers for safety and for coming home soon,and to those retired My utmost thanks for all the scarifices you gave up to serve during WW2,Korea,Viet Nam and recent battles your courage and unselfish duty will not be forgotten !!!!

I have had the privalegde to meet many veterans of all eras and am honored to have had that opportunity, and to tell them Thank you, shake thier hand and to be able to talk with many of thier experiences, They are all Great men and Women , I salute you all of the USAAF/USAF/USN/USMC/US ARMY/US COAST GUARD/MERCHANT MARINES/CIVIL AIR PATROL/GUARD/RESERVE , all my best to you !!!!!!!!!!

I'm coming up on 6 years of retirement next month - doesn't seem possible and I still miss the Army every day.

Thanks to all who served and especially to those who sacrificed all so that we could enjoy our freedoms!

I have two hard days a year. Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I did something different today besides flying our colors. Between my two flags that fly on the curbs edge I took an fullscale M16 airsoft rifle, inverted it. Placed a front seamed M1 helmet on it and my issue jungle boots at the base. Very easy display to create and a great way to remember our fellow warriors. I've spent alot of time today just looking at it.

Words can not express always what is in our hearts ! Thank you one and all, freedom is not easy.

Today Applebee's gave all vets a free meal and on Monday, Golden Corral will do the same from 5-9pm.

I'd like to thank all the vets past, present, and future today as well. I appreciate your service and devotion to this country
