Full Version: A pre-B day trip to the Springfield Armory Museum

My daughter Becky and I went to the Big E Gun Show in Springfield, MA yesterday and visited the Springfield Army Museum as part of a my pre-birthday present. Lots of neat displays to see at the museum so I thought I would share some pictures.





The most fascinating display is of course the "organ" of SA muskets, the centerpiece of the museum.







Also, there was no lack of displays of firearms used during the various wars. Here are some of my favorites -

All in all, had a great time browsing through the museum. I highly recommend stopping by the museum if you ever are in my neck of the woods.
