If that is a grey jacket and a kahki crow then no it does not belong.

John, technecally you are correct, however khaki crows were sometimes worn on the gray coats when gray crows were not available. This is an example of one of those classic Navy things where you use what you have available, basically, do what you have to do.

I've seen this coat before, and while it should have a gray crow, this was sometimes done.

I know you are correct but..... I would like to hear it from a man who wore it that way.... and why he left it that way? But like anything in the nav he may have had to wear it like that for one occaision and never wore it again. In that respect I would leave it as is.
