I saw him in Feb at the SOS -- looked healthy to me.
He won best in show display at ASMIC with his SHAEF collection up in Hartford a few years back -- a knock out collection!
I knew the previous owner of Ike's Ike and I have a pretty good idea of what it cost him. It is really historical piece.

I would expect that -- easily.
BTW -- I supplied the eagles on the shoulders to the previous owner! They are CB -- the originals were SB.

Anyone know what happened to Jim Mountain? He was a good dealer...I never knew his collection looked like this though!
Ironic to know that I was dealing with him while he had half of one of my groups in his collection...

Mind blowing stuff in this auction for sure. I'm actually more interested in the golf items for Ike as I also collect vintage golf. It will be interesting to see what the final numbers are for these lots.

IKE's IKE just sold for $37,500. Not a bad price considering what some of the higher end TR items often sell for!

Anyone know the realized price on the IKE Jacket?

$37,500 + 20% commission... a total of a cool $45,000 (not including shipping...)
