Hi all,

I am currently restoring a sight for an M-9 bazooka, not the more commonly seen sight with the optics, but the crude metal sight. I seem to be missing something on mine.

Id like to have a detailed picture of the whole sight, and one of the front sight aparture.

Any and all help very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Stijn

Hi Johann,
A while back I picked up this bar sight on ebay. The big difference is the center bar is solid and doesn't have the side recesses like yours and others I've seen in pictures. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's an early version, a different manufacturer's version or a just plain fake. Didn't pay much so it's not a biggee.
Thanks,
Bill

I think the fixture itself is good, but this could be salvaged from a later type optical sight. To me the sight itself & the connector look home made. My sight looks exactly the same as the one in Johans picture.

Hi Stijn,
I just recently came across this seller of repro bar sights. Looks like my sight found it's twin.

One question for you. The raised end of the sight nearest the shooter's eye looks flat in Johan's picture. Is it ? Period pictures I have seen show it as being cupped like my repro. Two types or just my bad eyesight ?

Is there any chance of someone posting a picture of the bar part of the sight by itself, I am curious about how it attaches to the support.

Best Regards,
Bill
