Wow. Sad to hear this. I own most and think I have read all of his Vietnam books. Especially enjoyed: Into Laos, Into Cambodia, Death Valley, and the one on the 1968 Tet siege of Hue (exact title escapes me). Man 44 is way too young to pass. Any details? Regardless, RIP brother .....

he died from lung cancer but he did not smoke . patchtrader864
I have several of his books in my library. 44 years old.... way too young... Thats my age !
