I did have an email exchange w/ the new owner after right after auction, very pleased! (he got them at a very fair price, had I not been looking for other things :whistling: he may not have gotten away with them) Fortunately the broken-off pin and period clutch back is present and repair can be made simply. Hope he will share some more pic's...!

Oh yes, enjoy seeing these any time! IMHO the Meyer emblems are a step above the H&H design, simply outclass them in fit, finish and detail. The level of details about the eagle is remarkable when sitting adjacent the H&H. Enjoy Ronnie and thank you for posting! s/f Darrell

My wife picked this up for me back in June while I was living the dream in Fort Pickett... beautiful Meyers example M26 officer service emblem... stamped Meyers shield and 'Fire Bronze', dual screwpost
