I've got a few like the one on the right with the different branches of the Army; Infantry, Cavalry.. etc. also MI and it's the old style sphinx. I think these were made during WW2 and suspect they were meant for garrison caps or possibly to replace collar brass during WW2 to save the strategic metals. They're a little small for garrison caps and I've never seen any pictures or read anything about replacing collar brass so it's just a supposition on my part. I'll try to take a picture of the ones I have and post it here for comparison.
