Dave Posted November 12, 2009 #4 Posted November 12, 2009 There are also two books published by Schiffer: Uniforms, Equipment and Weapons of the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I http://www.schifferbooks.com/newschiffer/b...isbn=0764324314 and Organization and Insignia of the American Expeditionary Force 1917-1923 by one of our very own forum members! http://www.schifferbooks.com/newschiffer/b...n=9780764329371 I've actually toyed with authoring a book about WW1 militaria, but simply haven't had the time to do it (the last book I wrote took the better part of a year to write, working four to five hours a day!) I know that if we photographed several of the collections represented on this forum, the book would be absolutely mind-blowing...maybe someday...(eight more years to retirement...maybe then!) Dave
LtRGFRANK Posted November 12, 2009 #5 Posted November 12, 2009 Ken Lewis's "DOUGHBOY TO GI" is a great reference book. Robert
