http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3006&_rdc=1Can we all count the ways on this one? Last time I checked, a Sgt. had a somewhat different chevron on his sleeve. Yikes. Rich

How about this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/WW2-Named-Air-Force-Co...=item3a5373f981"WW2 Original Colonels Army Air force uniform named to Maj. A. Williamson dated 11/19/4?" Gotta love the AAF wing & star combat patch halfway down the sleeve. And where's the rest of his ribbons?

I saw Ft Atkinson in the auction description and asked our secretary, who is from Fort, if she knew of this guy. Turns out her husband is friends with the son and she knows the daughter. She's going to ask if they know anything about their father's service, the estate sale and the uniform in question. Her impression, knowing the family, is that they would have "kept all the doo-dads from the uniform".
Small world.....
Pete
