Proud Kraut Posted August 22, 2009 #1 Posted August 22, 2009 I love to look at all these models here. Long long time ago I built a couple of models myself, far away from reaching those skills displayed here all the time. Anyway, watching your models motivated me to go through some boxes on the attic, where my model kits are stored for more than 20 years now. Nothing special at all and nothing so well made being worth to be posted here. Finally I came across this small VERLINDEN diorama that I wanted to post nevertheless. I just like the motive, hope you enjoy it also. Lars
FightenIrish35 Posted August 22, 2009 #3 Posted August 22, 2009 Figure with different head. Very cool...im starting to really enjoy these type of models!!
Mike Force Posted August 22, 2009 #4 Posted August 22, 2009 Nice job with good details  Mike
Jeeper704 Posted August 22, 2009 #5 Posted August 22, 2009 I still have these two ... Nowhere near the great ones shown here, but I like 'em. Erwin
Justin Posted August 23, 2009 #7 Posted August 23, 2009 I love it, looks great!, one question, why does a Vietnam Marine have a musette bag? lol
Old Marine Posted August 24, 2009 #8 Posted August 24, 2009 Nice Vignettes, I like little models like that. Nicely done. Dennis
Proud Kraut Posted August 25, 2009 Author #9 Posted August 25, 2009 Thank you all for your kind comments! Going thru the boxes I noticed, that many of the decals were resolved from the models meanwhile. I remember that working with these decals was one of my main problems in the "construction phase" too. When weathering a tank the outline of the decals remain shiny or they solved from the model completely. Any good advices conserning these decals?
Jeeper704 Posted August 25, 2009 #10 Posted August 25, 2009 Verlinden dry transfers seem to be good. Erwin
korea drab Posted September 2, 2009 #12 Posted September 2, 2009 Archer has a great selection of dry transfers! Also cutting decals on the contour and aplying varnish is a must for avoiding that awfull detail on decals. http://www.archertransfers.com/ Karl
Proud Kraut Posted September 15, 2009 Author #13 Posted September 15, 2009 Thank you very much guys! Will try the dry transfer decals. Lars
