I can't pass up anything olive drab, especially if it's only a dollar. Which is why I ended up with this strap, 56 inches long and about an inch wide. Does it look familiar to anyone?

I think from the poor sewing that it is not US military. It would not be the first time I was wrong however if this is a bad guess.

Hi Forum support, thanks for showing the strap, I think I might be able to answer your question on that strap, tomorrow when we have daylight I need to pull out a few boxes and take a shot of the strap, if I'm right in what I am assuming it is.
Cheers ( Lewis )
p.s. Edit note, sorry talking about waiting for daylight I suppose you colonnials probably think we dont have electricity yet, well we do we gave up candles last week , and next year we are hoping to have inside plumbing

Maybe the strap for the life preserver?
Ill take a look at the stitching in the morning.

Boy that looks similar. And yes the stitching is lighweight so I figured it was not designed for lashing heavy loads.

Forum Support, ' Peace ' beat me to it, that's the same life-vest that I was going to dig out when it got light today, and you can see the strap on there. Cheers ( Lewis )
