Another score from ebay tonight. I picked these interesting pieces up from a lady in Florida for next to nothing. The first is a large lead filled pinback hat insignia for Troop B of the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry, better known as the "Rough Riders," from the Spanish American War. B Troop was comprised almost entirely of Volunteers from Arizona mustered by Bucky O'Neil. They faught at all the major engagements associated with the Rough Riders including the fighting at Las Guasimas and the charge up San Juan Hill with Teddy.
