I have a question for the Forum. I have this early liner with SP markings under the Lt. Col. rank insignia and I do not know what SP denotes, what does it mean? The Disaster Response insignia is on both sides of the liner. Gen. Lucas

I did 10 years in the Security Police and never saw a helmet like this. Come to think of it, I never saw a squadron commander in the states wear a helmet outside of South East Asia, and then they were either O.D. or had a cover. Where did you find this one?
