While I am on a w.holdings hatred/is a fraud kick here are some other suspicious items.

Patched like a pre-1913. Obviously others thought the same way I did because it sold for a whopping 54 bucks.

This is a Great, Early US Navy military uniform jumper/tunic. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early, Donald Duck/Cracker Jack style design, with a bib back & it's Original Patches, including a Gunner's, is made of a Denim like cotton twill, from around the World War I era and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. This has no marked Size, but measures approx. 20" from armpit to armpit and 26" from top to bottom. This appears to be in Very Good, Crisp, Clean condition, and displays MUCH better than the picture shows.

Jason

I would say the jacket is good.Note the crows are forward facing. To me if one was faking it would not be easy to find a matched pair of Chief Corpmans rates. The red crosses were replaced in 1947 as I recall. The ribbon bar has been blurred as to blot out a purple heart ribbon possibly??Loks by the biding there are others who like it as well.....

I dont follow his auctions but agree with Bob and Mark.If you can wade through the chaff you can sift out a treasure from time to time.No different than any other day on ebay.

RD

For posterity sake here is the jacket mentioned. I am not sure why, but I have noticed the ribbons are blurred in all the pics of theirs. Sold for $442.99

I find it amazing that people would spend that much money on something that has no detailed photos and parts are blurred out.

the reason for the blured ribbons is too keep the Ebay police from taking down the items due to there rules on valor medals. Note I said THERE rules and those rules suck. I am going to start blacking out parts of ribbons on my photos also from now on.

That was my huntch too so that means all their uniforms have MOH and Service Crosses? Okay then I am definatley not bidding....That Corpsman looks to have a NC on it...

Maybe I will just start blacking out my ribbons for sale and not mention anything about it. That should generate high bids.

The thing that gets me is none of his items are named. Anyway, everthing I'm interested in. I did ask about that Marine uniform and no name, imagine that. If I'm going to spend that kind of money I wanted a name to make sure it was not put together.
