Here is photo of a display that our military club did for a Medal of Honor flag and medal ceremony for the widow of Pharmacist Mate 1st Class John Harlan Willis. He was killed on Iwo Jima. The original medal was destroyed in a fire while on loan to the State of Tennessee. They gave her a medal that was engraved "DISPLAY" on the back. The U.S. Navy presented his widow with a new medal and a MOH flag at a presentation in Columbia. Columbia was his hometown and is where he is buried. Ms. Willis asked us to put on a Navy Corpsman/ Iwo Jima display Attached Image

Great display! You must be very proud of it, and what a lovely tribute to such a heroic individual.

Kind Regards,

Will

Thanks guys..sorry I didn't take any photos of the items in the cases. It was a great ceremony. One of our club members that attended Grandfather is John Finn. I think he is the oldest living Medal of Honor veteran.
