I'm planning a display of a GI with a captured MP43/MP44/StG44.

I would like to see some pictures showing GI's armed with the above, to get some ideas on campaign, unit, etc...

Hello Johan,

Here is a pic as taken for you especially. This is a GI from 6th Armoured Division. Also his parachute canopy camouflaged scarf is interesting.

Hi Johan,

Hill 192, near St-Lô. July 1944. A 2nd Lt from canon co 38th Rgt playing with a captured Stg (captured from 3. Fschm Jg div). Note: I've found Stg ammo on Hill 192)

I especally like the 4th photo down as it shows he is actually using/carring it in combat and not just examining/playing with one as he has an MP44 magazine pouch on for extra ammo and I bet the bandolier is full of MP44 ammo. Ray

I agree. This guy seems to know what StG was designed for and he looks like real user of it.

Yes, this photo was taken in the Ardennes.
30th Infantry Division men in the area of La Gleize.
