Jeremy,

The current seller acknowledges that he added the net, and that it is a authentic WWII net. Is there something else we should know?

I contacted the seller and he agreed to modify the listing, so there isn't an issue anymore. -Jeremy

Nice helmet. I often add original nets to my M1s for display purposes. It's not such a big deal because they can be removed at any time.

Well I partially agree, there is nothing wrong with adding a component to to a helmet for display purposes but to me it would be a big deal as a buyer if I was purchasing a helmet that I thought was a complete original set when in fact the net on it was added last week and that information was not listed in the description. I sell many helmets and not once have I conveniently forgot to mention if I added a nape strap, headband, chinstrap, liner etc... But that's just me.
