I noticed this helmet today and it was one that I sold a couple of weeks ago and at that time it did not have the net on it. Just wanted to give the heads up to any potential buyers that the net is a recent addition. -Jeremy

The current seller acknowledges that he added the net, and that it is a authentic WWII net. Is there something else we should know? :think:

Nice helmet. I often add original nets to my M1s for display purposes. It's not such a big deal because they can be removed at any time.

Well I partially agree, there is nothing wrong with adding a component to to a helmet for display purposes but to me it would be a big deal as a buyer if I was purchasing a helmet that I thought was a complete original set when in fact the net on it was added last week and that information was not listed in the description. I sell many helmets and not once have I conveniently forgot to mention if I added a nape strap, headband, chinstrap, liner etc... But that's just me.

Blah blah, just didn't need the helmet anymore after 1 week. Blah blah honest mistake probably lose money on it anyway. No? A BIn with $450? Doh!
