jagjetta Posted September 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 5, 2007 Greetings, I had a brief story in Military Trader about the recentt 11th Massachusetts jacket that sold along with a couple of illustrations of it. I thought list members might enjoy reading it, so I posted it here: http://www.militarytrader.com/Default.aspx...51#5651Articles Hope you find it useful, John Adams-Graf Editor, MT www.militarytrader.com

LTGSANCHEZ Posted September 6, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 6, 2007 Nice! I've seen his jacket and cdv in a book before. Now if I could only pick the right lottery numbers, I'd be able to share cool stuff like that with the forums all the time...

jagjetta Posted September 6, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted September 6, 2007 For that price and I hope it come with two pairs of pants. Indeed, it is a cool piece. I have not seen the jacket in person, but it appears to be a cut-down 9-button frock coat. An enlisted man's frock will usually sell in the $12K-$20K range. This jacket is a good example of what solid provenance can do the value of an item! John
