Paul- Really pleased I could help out with the rubber bayonet for the Parris Trainer.  Had literally seen it just a little while before I read the Toy Gun thread. SKIP

If anyone has any pictures of toy guns from the early 90’s that would be a blast from the past for me

Here is a cap cane gun maybe 1890s top, repeater1920s bottom.

Also called cap busters.

Net pic of ammo for repeater.

Some of my old pics disappeared.

Lyrtle cast aluminum guns from 1950s.  Holster is replica that I kept the toy in.

Another unknown Davy Crockett item, I'm jealous now! Here's the only D.C. item I have from the late 50's.

Lots of great guns you folks have that bring back fond memories of growing up in the 60's.  I didn't save any of my arsenal.  So I hope you don't mind this clip from Get Smart.  I don't remember any Get Smart weapons. But I do remember some kind of Man From UNCLE pistol with all kinds of additions that could be put on it.  I also had a Star Trek "Phaser" pistol that shot little disks.  I looked absolutely NOTHING like any gun I ever saw on Star Trek, but it had the Star Trek name, logo and I think a picture of Kirk on the package, so of course I HAD to have one.

I think its same model as scarecrow's.  That blue is hard to read diff models. it was in focus but I think res was decreased to add it.

I had no idea "Kadets of America" appears to have been an actual organization for kids.  Thanks for posting all that info!

You are welcome.  Sorry about quality of pics. Blue print plus led lights plus decrease res makes it hard to read.  There is advertisement for a  to 2 week kadet camp also.

In one of those strange coincidences that sometimes occur.  After posting the photos of the Parris Mfg. Kadet Rifle and then Bayonet, I needed to find a box to ship some items to a friend.  Went to my basement today to find a box large enough to fit the items I was shipping.  This is the box I found and didn't realize what it was until I got back upstairs!  I just didn't realize that Parris Mfg was even still in business.  Just was one of those Whoa moments today.

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't know if the 'Marksman' repeater is exactly a 'toy' but back in the day; 1960's, we sure used it as one. It lobbed, more than fired bb's. The derringer did something back when it was new but I'm not sure what?
