Interesting Field Gear

Like many members of this forum, I have an avid interest in early USMC field gear. With that said, there is only one thing more interesting then USMC field gear, and that's Confederate field gear. Pictured below is a gorgeous Confederate cartridge box with sling and Georgia State Seal cartridge box plate. This beauty is 100% original.

Confederate.

agreed! I confess to know zip about Civil War gear,

but any experienced collector knows patina, and this one has a super patina to it!

Wow....that is very nice. Wish it was in my collection. Being from Georgia and a Civil War Buff makes me want it that much more. Congrats... very nice.
