Sabrejet Posted August 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2010 Here we have a nice example of the standard field issue binoculars of WW2. They were made by Westinghouse in 1942. The optics are as clear now as they were on the day they were made. The russet leather Case, Carrying, M7, can either be slung around the neck or worn on a belt using the loop on the reverse side. Earlier versions of the case featured an integral compass in the lid.

Sabrejet Posted August 21, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted August 21, 2010 Does anyone know what H.M.R., as engraved on the binoculars, stands for? Sabrejet
