Spike Posted August 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2007 This is a mint set. US large size. US large shirts, these are pretty big and everybody knows who hard it is to find these in truly large sizes, the sleeves actually hang below the wrist. Spike Posted August 5, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted August 5, 2007 Mismatched mint US med/lrg set. These are kinda beat up with paint but they are some of the brightest golds I have seen.

TBMflyer Posted August 6, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 6, 2007 I'm not savvy to pattern types but here is a tiger stripe ball-cap from an AC-119 vet, who flew with the 71st Special Operations Squadron. Enjoy, Mark.

Spike Posted August 6, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted August 6, 2007 I've never really liked or have gotten into the duck hunter stuff and I'm not really into tiger stripe anymore either to be honest, in other words, I don't collect them anymore, I have all I need with what I have. vintageproductions Posted August 6, 2007 Share #13 Posted August 6, 2007 The cowboy type Tiger Stripe boonie hat is a Taiwanese pattern. I bought some of these out of a tailor shop there in the 80's.
Patrick. Posted August 6, 2007 Share #14 Posted August 6, 2007 Some very nice items posted here. I have to make reference to Jeromes amazing Beo Gam/Leopard collection, simply superb! The bagged set is fascinating, i presume this is a CISO produced garment? I have one example of this pattern that belonged to a member of MEDTC who served in Cambodia in 1973-74, a custom made garment that is cut like a French 47/52 jump smock(!) to include the "beaver tail". I have photos of the US serviceman wearing the uniform in the field as part of the grouping. I am in the process of photographing the uniform, but in the meantime here is a quick shot of the set. The trousers are cut like tiger stripe trousers. Patrick.
